Abstract
The contemporary era has seen smartphones evolve into an indispensable part of daily life. The integration of technology enables users to conduct financial transactions and payments via smartphone applications, effectively transforming these devices into "Digital Wallets" or "Mobile Wallets." This study investigates the factors influencing users' decisions to embrace digital wallets for online payments and explores the associated risks and challenges. A structured questionnaire was distributed among 128 smartphone users utilizing digital wallets for online transactions, categorized by gender, age, and occupation. Out of 128 recipients, 100 responded to the questionnaire, addressing queries related to online payment preferences, influencing factors, and challenges encountered in digital wallet usage. The study employed quantitative methods, specifically ANOVA, to derive statistical insights from the respondents.
